Jacob came home yesterday with something we have been waiting for for months, literally! No it wasn't his orders, (I wish) but it was a date! We finally have the date that he will be reporting to Texas!
And here it is :
That is right, he doesn't report there until April 12th. At first that posed a sort of a problem because we gave our 30-day notice for our house a couple of weeks ago and according to that we were supposed to be out of our house by next Friday! Thankfully we were able to talk to our landlord and he hadn't been able to rent out our house again. He said he had been trying really hard to get it rented though. We have been blessed again!
We decided we needed to have a date to celebrate getting a date. We thought about buying dates to eat for our date, but I don't like that kind of date so we bought cookie cutters and pizza instead and made peanut butter cookies (as pictured above)!
We are so grateful to have a date and to have a house to live in until that date! Now we just need to find out where we are going after we get to Texas! :)
