So, Jacob has been toying with the idea of introducing Rachel to Pathfinder (dungeons and dragons for those who may not know it by that). A while ago he helped her make a character. She chose the toughest looking thing in the book she could find. A Half-Orc Barbarian that she named Galopadon. Totally not what I expected her to choose. She talks about Galopadon all the time. Anyway, while Jacob was home for a few extra days this last week, he played through a few little scenarios with her, and she loved it. She came up and told me about how Galopadon fought some goblins and got to save some kids.
I love that Jacob is wanting to spend time with our kids and that he is introducing them to things he has loved to do.
It's fun to hear Rachel say, "Dad, will you play Pathfinder with me?"
