To Josh

We were writing letters to Jacob's brother Josh who is on an LDS mission to Panama the other day and Rachel decided she wanted to write to Uncle Josh too:
 

I love how well she is doing with reading and writing! It is so fun to see her learn new things and see the confidence she gets as she masters them!

On the table

There is not a thing that can keep this kid from anything that he sets him mind to.
 

I can't even tell you how many times a day I find him standing, sitting, or crawling on the table. We have to keep our table cleared of everything or else Kent will climb up on top of it to get what ever his heart desires.

First Hair Cut

Just before Kent's birthday Jacob decided it was time for Kent to get his first hair cut. Actually, Jacob decided he needed a hair cut a few months ago, but I just couldn't let him buzz my baby's hair. We decided to just buzz in verses taking him somewhere to actually get it cut by a professional because this kid cannot sit still for any length of time. In fact, the only way he falls asleep is if he is held down in one way or another (high chair, car seat, mama, etc).

We thought he would absolutely hate getting his hair cut, but Jacob was really cute with him and let him get used to the hair clippers first so he was okay with it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I can't believe how big he looks with his hair cut so short! He doesn't look like a baby anymore! I love my handsome little boy!

6- If you could have 3 wishes, what would you wish for?

Here's number 6. Maybe by the time I'm 30, I'll get around to answering all 30 questions!

1. I wish I could teleport. It seems like I am always wishing for this one! Especially when Jacob is gone for training or something. Think of how nice it would be if while he was deployed he could come home every night with out having to actually do the traveling, and how easy vacations would be if you didn't have to spend the 10 hours in the car first, or spend a bunch of money on plane tickets. I could see my family as often as I wanted.

2. I wish I knew how many kids I would have and all of their birthdays. It would be nice to know when they were going to come and how many we are going to have. I'm a planner and would love to have this part all planned out, and what pregnant woman wouldn't love to know exactly what day their baby was going to come so they can plan for child care and know exactly how long they have to get their house cleaned up?

3. I wish I didn't have to sleep. It would be so nice to have all of that extra time to do what ever I wanted or needed to. I still want everyone else to have to sleep, but it would be so nice if I didn't have to.
