Oh my goodness, my tummy is getting big! We are 31 weeks along, and what a crazy 31 weeks it's been. Actually, it hasn't all been crazy, mostly just the last two weeks have been crazy, but the level of crazy has been so high that it makes me feel like there is too much crazy to have it all fit in the last 2 weeks. I'm not sure if that made any sense to anyone else, but don't mind me, I'm crazy. :) our baby is now about 3 pounds and 16 inches long! He is so fun and wiggly. Rachel loves to feel him wiggle around and she likes to push on him a little and see how it makes him wiggle. Kent likes to kiss my tummy or tickle "baby Wijah". Sometimes he will come give me big hugs and say "I guish (squish) Baby Wijah!" I can just see Kent squishing "Baby Wijah" after he comes out too. It's going to be an adventure for sure when he comes.
Let's see, a few more things about this pregnancy....my tummy is now too big for most of my shirts, meaning that the bottom of my shirt comes up revealing a small portion of my tummy that I can't see and I have to rely my kids reaching up to tickle my tummy to keep me modest and covered.
My emotions have been hard to handle, mostly the last two weeks, and mostly I think because Jacob is gone. It's been hard to not have any break or support from him. When he is home, he really isn't actually home a lot. He is pretty busy with his job and homework, but I do have his support and I have his help with the kids in the evenings and on the weekends and at bedtime. I still have his support when he's gone, but it's harder to give support when the only contact we get is to FaceTime for a half hour to 45 minutes everyday. I am so blessed to have him, and I'm so excited for him to come home, and not just to have his help with the kids.
My belly button is still an innie, but I have a feeling that is going to change before too long here.
I have to get up and go to the bathroom at least once a night. Sometimes twice.
My favorite time with Elijah is when I lay down in bed at night. Elijah always gets super wiggly for about an hour and I love to watch and feel my stomach wiggle all over. I love to be able to feel where different body parts are. He is really funny though, if I press on any part of him, he always just moves out of the way. I remember if I ever pressed on Kent, he would kick back, I even remember that some with Rachel, but Elijah moves out of the way if he ever gets pushed on. I'm super excited for this little one to come out! I can't wait to meet him and see what his personality is like!
