Hillcrest Park Zoo

We have a zoo pass to a zoo that's about 1/2 hour away from our house. It's a pretty small zoo, but it is fantastic! There are a lot of animals there for how small of a zoo it is, and the zoo is never crowded. Rachel was funny this last time and kept asking me to take her picture with the animals so we could send the pictures to daddy. 

Sooooo sleepy

So we recently started cutting out Kent's naps. He still laid down easily and took a 2+ hour long nap every day, but he had started staying up late at night, not going to bed until sometimes 9 o'clock (their bedtime is 7). This has resulted in him being extra tired and falling asleep in random places. Poor sleepy kid!

First time in a swing

After we picked up Jacob on Saturday, we went to a park to help the kids get some wiggles out after being in the car for 5 hours. The park we found had a baby swing. Can you see from Elijah's expression what he thought about it?

I love my boys!!

Too quiet

The other day I was FaceTiming with Jacob and Kent went into the other room with out me. He was a little too quiet so I sent Rachel to check on him. She said "He's in your bathroom and his face is really dirty!" I got up to check and low and behold, he had gotten into my make up. 

Apparently he's been watching me put it on because he put the mascara and eye shadow and lipstick in relatively the right places.

I love this kid!

Kent

Kent came and gave me a hug during breakfast time this morning and told me, "Mom, I like the way you feel." Sometimes this boy is so surprisingly sweet!
