Due date tomorrow
So I just got an email from my google calendar telling me that tomorrow is my due date. As if I could forget.
I'm fully aware that tomorrow is the day that I'm no longer supposed to be pregnant. I'm fully aware that I am ginormous and not getting any smaller. I'm fully aware of the feet in my ribs and the head pressing on my bladder. I'm fully aware of how hard it is to sleep at night when you are 40 weeks pregnant. But I'm okay with it. I'm also fully aware of the miracle it is that my body can grow a whole baby inside it starting from just two little cells. I am okay with my baby taking a few extra days to grow so that he can come out as healthy as possible. It's true I can hardly wait to hold this little son of mine in my arms and to meet him and to see and kiss his sweet face, but I'm willing to let him come when he is supposed to. I do wish I knew what day he would finally come, but I'm willing to wait. My doctor said he wouldn't induce me until the 27th. 10 days after my due date. I really hope I don't have to wait that long, but I will do what is necessary to bring this child into the world. My parents came down to watch my kids while I had my baby this week. They only have a few days left until they have to go home to their normal lives and jobs, and hey won't be able to come back and help if Elijah is born later. It will be interesting to see what will happen with this cute little baby of mine. I can hardly wait til he comes, but I will of course. :)

More October meals
Campfire
I love my kids and their imaginations. We are at the park and this is their "campfire" they just built. Rachel is having a hard time keeping her baby out of the campfire and Kent is cooking the hot dogs. I need to take these kids camping for reals.

"I want to be Elsa!"
So Rachel asked to try on her Elsa dress today. If you didn't know, she asked to be Elsa for Halloween, so we looked online at different Elsa dresses and Rachel picked her favorite one and I bought fabric and made it.
Here is the dress she picked:
Here's how hers turned out:
And the back:
As she was wearing it this morning and dancing and singing "Let it go" Kent said, "I want to be Elsa!" Frozen is his all time favorite movie, and the poor kid can't even be Elsa. I reminded him that he was a brown cat though and he was okay with it, but he still proceded to sing "Let it Go" for the next 15 minutes. I love these funny kids!
